General Dentistry
Consultation: A detailed Medical and Dental histroy with complete oral screening.
Oral Prophylaxis: Complete teeth cleaning and polishing.
Dental Restoration: Resin based restorative material is used for filling defects caused by caries, trauma or extensive brushing.
Dental Rvg: Xray of 1 to 3 teeth taken for visiualization of caries/ tooth pathologies.
Endodontic treatment
Root Canal Treatment : Procedure of cleaning and shaping the infected part of the tooth to eliminate bacteria from the infected root canal, prevent reinfection of the tooth and save the natural tooth.
Emergency Access Opening: Relieving the pressure built by infective pus inside the tooth by opening up canals of the tooth followed by an open dressing.
Post Obturative restoration(POR): High Impact, High Strength resin based filling material above the treated root canals to form the lost tooth structure.
Apicectomy: Removal of the infected tip of the root, and re-filling with calcium based filling material to remove the source of infection.
Post and core: Root canal treatment of badly broken/ carious tooth followed by replacement with a small rod like material placed inside the tooth root, and a filling taking anchorage from it.
Direct/ Indirect Pulp Capping: Two layered filling incorporating medicament to repair minute nerve exposure or near exposure of nerve of tooth.
Periodontal Therapy
Pocket sterilization: Elimination of infective gum tissue from pathologic pockets formed between the gums and teeth.
Laser Assisted: Disinfection with LASER leading to less bleeding, better healing and painless procedure.
Blade Assisted: Surgical elimination of infected tissue using blade under local anesthesia.
Curretage: Ultasonic cleaning and debridement of infection above and below the gum level.
Abscess Drainage: Draining the pus from the gum boil surgically to disinfect the area concerned.
Flap surgery: Minor surgical procedure where gum tissue is separated from surrounding teeth and deflected back to allow cleaning and replacing the infected part with graft with bone substitute and suturing it back to provide a better gum health.
Depigmentation: Removal of Pigmented gum layer assisted by LASER to reveal the original gum colour.
Frenectomy & Frenotomy: Minor surgery to relieve the frenum coming between the teeth or to remove tongue tie.
Oral Surgery
Extraction: Removal of decayed or broken tooth under the influence of local anesthesia
Surgical Extraction: Minor surgical procedure to remove tilted/ submerged wisdom or canine tooth from within the bone.
Cystic Enucleation: Minor surgical procedure to remove the entire boil from the bone without harming the surrounding structures.
Prosthodontic Treatment
Crowns and Bridge: Metal, Metal-ceramic and Metal free (Zirconia, Emax) caps placed above root canal treated and prepared teeth to cover the entire tooth surface and to strengthen it and to replace lost tooth if any.
Inlay, Onlay: Metal, Metal free (Zirconia, Emax) placed to restore lost toooth structure without covering it completely.
Veneer and laminates: A thin facing coverage of front teeth to mask discoloured tooth, closure of gaps between teeth and enhance the overall smile.
Temporary crowns: Temporary plastic tooth to cover the prepared tooth untill permanent replacement.
Complete Dentures: Acrylic prosthesis to replace all teeth and gums which can be removed.
Partial Dentures: Acrylic or metallic prosthesis to replace some of thelost teeth and gums which can be be removed.
Maxillofacial Prosthesis: Replacement of lost structures of face like palate, ear, eye, nose, etc with acrylic or silicon prosthesis.
Orthodontic therapy
Braces: Metal or Ceramic brackets fitting into stainless steel wire to straighten crooked or malnourished teeth.
Appliance therapy: Acrylic temporary device to expand the jaws in growing children or to prevent certain habits like tongue thrusting, nail biting.
Clear Aligner therapy: transparent customized plastic trays are used to straighten crooked or maligned teeth especially to correct gaps present in between teeth.
Retainers: Teeth bonded stainless steel wire or clear trays placed above the orthodontically treated teeth to retain the original position.
Night Guard : Soft or Hard clear trays worn on the lower or upper teeth to prevent wear of teeth and reduce teeth grinding at night.
Implant therapy
Single implant Therapy: Replacement of single missing tooth using a titanium based screw placed into the jaw bone.
Implant Bridge Therapy: Replacement of multiple teeth using 2 or more implants restored with joined caps
Full Mouth Implant Therapy: Four to eight implants per jaw are placed to replace all the lost teeth.
Immediate Implant Therapy: Extraction of the affected tooth and its replacement immediately by placing an implant body/ screw in the concerned tooth bone followed by placement of cap over it.
Pediatric Dental Therapy
Dental treatment for children in the age group of 0-14, all the above treatments are performed with extreme care, keeping in mind the anatomy and child psychology. Apart form these some special treatments are included, as follows:
Fluoride application: Application of gel containing fluoride to increase the available fluoride content of the tooth, to better fight caries.
Pulpectomy/ Pulpotomy: Root canal treatment for children.
Stainless steel crowns: Ready made stainless steel caps for root canal treated milk teeth.
Space maintainers: stainless steel wire based or acrylic based boned or removable appliances used to maintain the space gotten by exfoliated milk teeth till the eruption of permanent teeth.
